Update - Horshader Climate and Community Fayre 🌿
This year we’re celebrating World Environment Day with a community event packed with inspiration, action, and hands on activities

📍 Location: Ionad Na Seann Sgoil -Shawbost
⏰ Time: 12pm to 4pm
Join us for a day dedicated to our land, our coast, and our shared future. We’re bringing together an incredible group of organisations working across climate action, biodiversity, energy, and community wellbeing, including:
• Advocacy Western Isles
• Climate Hebrides EV Roadshow
• Royal Society for the Protection of Birds
• Clean Coast Outer Hebrides
• Tighean Innse Gall - TIG
• Home Energy Scotland
• Hebridean Tree Ark
Expect interactive stalls, expert advice, family friendly activities, nature focused workshops, and plenty of opportunities to learn how we can all make a difference right here in the community.
For catering, Clann an Latha an Dè are running a charity càfe to fundraise for their mainland trip, providing delicious home baking, teas and coffees. For something more substantial, Piotsa will be on site serving up fresh wood-fired pizzas.
We are also planning to have a couple of inflatables in the garden for the young and young at heart (weather permitting!) thanks to Pursuit Hebrides.
There really is something for everyone!
