Just as the summer is coming to an end, doesn't mean that gardening stops! It is time to tidy up and prepare for the new seasons to come. It is now bulb planing time such as daffodils, crocuses, snow drops, tulips and many more and of course for the veg garden it is time to plant garlic, winter cabbage etc. Time to think and plan for the year ahead with flower seeds etc. Thank to you to everyone who has got in touch and hopefully we will hear from more over the seasons.
Finally for now, enjoy your garden!

Happy Halloween everyone!! 🎃👻🎃👻

To continue from my previous post; I have uploaded some photos of what we did with the pumpkins. We carved the majority of them into many creative ideas. My youngest son and I did most of the carvings. My wife made many different dishes using the pumpkins, from pumpkin soup to pumpkin pie. The photos below show what our garden looks like tonight. I hope everyone has a great Halloween and stay safe!!

Firstly a big thank you to anyone who liked and shared my page, it is very much appreciated!

I thought seeing as Halloween is in a few days, it would be very fitting to share a few photos of the pumpkins I have grown this year.

This is the third year in which I have grown pumpkins. A few weeks ago we picked the pumpkins from the allotment, we had a total of twenty one pumpkins in a variation of sizes. I have some photos attached of the day my youngest son and daughter and two grandsons helped me pick the pumpkins.

I will be uploading another post very soon on what I've done with the pumpkins!! 🎃🎃🎃
