Our Landscaping team at The Joshua Tree has just finished a major milestone: removing a large stump to reinstate a small retaining wall, then installing a willow weave panel screen. This marks the start of a long-term project to bring a little corner of Cambridge back to life.

Last week the Joshua Tree tackled this large Ash tree 🌳
This tree had a heavy lean toward the horse paddocks. Due to location and defects, the tree was considered hazardous and removed. In the tree, we found it was unstable and presenting a risk.
We carried out a precise, controlled felling with the help of a 4x4 for precision and safety. The work was done with care to minimise impact above ground while ensuring the area remains safe as work proceeds below the surface !

Huge removal today. Approx 30m tall. Unfortunately too diseased and too close to the highway. What a chunk. 🌲

Huge Monday at The Joshua Tree dismantling this impressive beech. Unfortunately it had multiple funguses present which deemed it unsafe for its location over the field of a multiple G1 winning racehorse now stallion. As always the boys turned up and dismantled the tree in a fast and efficient manor. With its age we firstly had all cavities inspected by an ecologist once given the green light it was go go go.
As always thank you to the team for all your hard work both on the ground and in the office.
Believe it or not but tomorrow we’re removing an even bigger specimen.
