🚨 Gear Box Replacement 🚨

Call out to a customer who’s door would not lock.

After inspection it was clear that the gearbox had failed. This was replaced on site and the door fully functioning in no time.

Customer was extremely happy as she thought she needed a new door.

🪟Window Jammed 🪟

Call from a customer who’s window had jammed shut. Non destructive opening techniques were used using specialised tools.

The window mechanism gearbox had failed, this was replaced on site in the first visit and done within the hour and the window working as it should.

New handles and lock upgrade to a local Indian takeaway/restaurant.

The old handles were loose and sloppy and a safety risk to staff and customers, that’s why the owner decided to upgrade. If your door handles are loose and the springs have gone and there is a fire, the handles could come off when pulled in a panic, potentially leaving you trapped inside the building, so CHECK YOUR HANDLES!!

This was replaced on site in one visit with stock on the van, along with an anti-snap anti-drill cylinder with 5 new keys.

🚨COMPOSITE DOOR GEAR BOX CHANGE 🚨

Call out where a customers door multi point mechanism wasn’t retracting meaning the door wouldn’t shut or lock.

The gearbox, as you can seen in the picture is completely bust where the spindle passes through.

This was changed for a genuine gear box on site and property secure in no time.

I was called out to a door where the multi-point locking mechanism had failed and just wasn’t working properly anymore.

Luckily, it’s a common repair, so I carry these in the van. I replaced the gearbox there and then, got everything locking smoothly again, and the customer wasn’t left waiting days with a door they couldn’t rely on.

I keep my van stocked with the parts I use most because I know how inconvenient these problems are. The aim is always to fix it in one visit, where possible.

And if I ever need to return because a part isn’t in stock, there’s no extra charge to come back and fit it. That’s just part of how I look after my customers.

Call out to customer in Sacriston who’s rear UPVC door lock wouldn’t turn and lock. This was down to the gear box completely seizing.

A replacement was sourced and the door was back working as it should, giving the customer piece of mind that her door was secure once again.

🚨 EMERGENCY LOCKOUT 🚨

Customer had left the keys inside this commercial property and shut the door behind them and locking herself out.

Non destructive method of entry was used to gain entry saving the night latch from being replaced and costing the customer extra money.

🔑 Lock Change 🔑

Call from a customer today who’s door would lock but the key wouldn’t release from the lock.

Thankfully this is a common fault with a euro cylinder, this happens when the cam slips and knocks it out of position.

Customer opted for a replacement instead of a repair.
