The team at Teddington-based Simon Merrony Architects are raising money for the Royal Surrey County Hospital COVID-19 Emergency Appeal by ‘climbing’ the THIRTY tallest buildings in the world.

✨Simon Merrony Architects COVID-19 Step Challenge ✨

We, the team at Simon Merrony Architects, are so grateful to our front line health care staff at this strange and scary time.

The Directors, Simon and Elaine, have first-hand experience of the stresses our marvellous health care workers are under as their daughter, India, is a Doctor dealing with Covid patients on a daily basis.

India has explained how stressful this time is for health care workers and how exhausted they all are. Many are sick themselves as a direct result of the work they are doing.

We want to show our appreciation and love for the NHS and are asking you to sponsor us to ‘virtually walk’ up the 30 tallest buildings in the world by walking up the stairs in our own homes. The donations will go directly to the Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity Covid-19 Emergency Appeal, which is where India works.

We will walk up buildings daily starting with the least steps to the most over the month of May- the buildings are listed below. By the end of the month we will have climbed over 100,000 steps between us.

The picture attached shows our first few days of climbing- there's a long way to go yet!

VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS ✨

The free 30 minute sessions will take place over video call from the comfort of your living room and all we ask is that you send us as much information (photos, floorplans or previous estate agents details) as you can before the consultation. Meet Elaine...

Elaine is a qualified solicitor and has run her own successful law firm in West London. She is now a Director of Simon Merrony Architects and deals with all financial matters of the Company.

Elaine has also worked on several large projects of the Company as Project Manager co-ordinating all issues between the client, contractor and Architect.

Ever wondered about the process of designing your new home?

Here is some insight on what we do...

Every project is different and after the initial consultation a full survey is completed in order to put forward design proposals which will be presented to each client in full 3D.

This allows a ‘walk through’ of the new space so the client can get a real feel of how their project will look once completed.

Sam graduated from The Manchester School of Architecture in 1996 and has gained a wide range of experience within the various sectors of architecture.

Sam joined Simon Merrony Architects in 2015 and have since completed many high end residential projects, from refurbishments to new builds.
