Recently completed Hall, Stairs and Landing for a lovely family in Cold Ash.

Artex ceilings were skimmed prior to our arrival for a more modern look.
Replacement skirting on the middle stair landing to tie in with the ground floor. Re-finish and update the reddish woodstained handrails and caps.

Ceilings finished in Armstead Vinyl Matt. Walls in Egyptian Cotton mixed in Armstead Durable Matt. Woodwork and Handrails in Benjamin Moore Aura Satin Chantilly Lace.

New carpets to be laid, finishing decorative touches from the client and this area has a new lease of life.
Ready for the ‘everything’ of family life.

A little look back to a lovely job finished up towards the end of last year.

This new kitchen/family room extension in Newbury was completed in a couple of stages over the space of several weeks.

The small galley kitchen had been removed and a new full width extension with skylight added to make this room the perfect family space.

As soon as the room was plastered and dry we got to work mist-coating, prepping and finishing the ceilings. The walls also had their first coat of colour all in time for the kitchen to be delivered on schedule.

After the kitchen had been fitted and all other trades finished we headed back to bring to a finish.
A bespoke Cooker Hood and some remedial work to the Howdens kitchen all completed in time for Christmas.

Ceilings finished in Dulux UltraMatt White, Walls in Farrow & Ball Dimity matched into Benjamin Moore UltraSpec 500 for the perfect flat finish. Woodwork in Benjamin Moore Aura Chantilly lace. Door finished in Osmo Door Oil to match the rest of the house.

Bright, light and airy this truly is the hub of the home. The perfect space for entertaining and busy family life.

Large family kitchen completed this week in Hermitage, Berkshire.

A wet, dreary dull week but not so for this vibrant space! A mixture of off-white and earthy green tones pair with the natural oak and stone tiled floor to connect this space to nature. 🌿 Light, bright and tranquil now.

The client had already added the feature wall beforehand and this was to stay, just a freshen up, with mostly repair work to the ceiling after a change of lighting. Pelmets and Corniche removed prior to our arrival and awaiting re-fitting.

All Dulux Heritage paints on this one. Ceiling finished in Veranda Green Velvet Matt. Coving and Walls Ash White Velvet Matt. Feature Wall in DH Drab and Woodwork finished in Veranda Green Eggshell.

Garage conversion and small extension completed this week in Thatcham.

A cold start to the year! 🥶 No heating currently installed but this area is looking much warmer now.

Ceilings finished in Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt. Walls in Johnstone's Trade Paints Acrylic Durable Matt - Elemental to match existing hallway and maintain flow. Woodwork finished in Benjamin Moore Aura Satin Chantilly Lace.

The new toilet/shower room will be fully fitted out with wet wall panels and sanitary ware afterwards.

Welcome 2026! Back at it transforming spaces.

Kicking the year off with some colour drenching.

Shower Room in Newbury completed. Drenched in Farrow & Ball London Clay mixed into Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa. Elegant, refined and sophisticated. The perfect antidote to a busy day.

Bedroom and En Suite completed in Thatcham this week to bring us to a finish for Christmas.

Ceiling fan removed for a new, updated fitting to be added by the client after completion.

Quite a bit of filling on previous poorly finished plasterboard joins on the window wall. Some blown MDF on the windowsill and en-suite skirtings as well but nothing we can’t fix.

Ceilings finished in Dulux UltraMatt, Walls in Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone mixed into Benjamin Moore UK Aura Matte and Woodwork finished in the Aura Satin. The warm, earthy tones leaving this room beautifully refreshed

Recently completed transformation of a Hall, Stairs and Landing in Newbury for a lovely couple.

These Victorian houses sometimes pose problems with wonkiness and hidden problems.
Remaining sympathetic to the age of the house, retaining character and charm was key.

The clients choice of Farrow & Ball colours and a beautiful carpet runner elevates this entranceway. Coupled with our expertise in products and finishes I’m sure you’ll agree it looks absolutely stunning! 😍
