It’s been a high tempo few months for the Millen Drywall teams. We’ve been across the region delivering MF ceilings, partitioning, deflection detail and drylining for a number of our customers:

Exciting times at Millen HQ!

A huge thanks goes out to DSigns for the installation of our board room and exterior signage this week. Both looking really smart! 😎

We have also just had a fresh British Gypsum delivery today from CCF and Gypsumtools Stocking up for the guys on the ground in these busy times ✅

New Site Announcement 💥

Due to our continued relationship with Bloor Homes, we are pleased to announce we have been awarded the drylining package at Bloors’ Fitchett Homes development — part of Bloors’ large scale Saltash Treledan development, which we are currently delivering.

This phase consists of 95 high specification homes, where our teams will be carrying out full drylining works, progress is already well underway.

Cracking result on a recent NHBC CQR at Bloor Homes Dawlish for the MILLEN DRYWALL LTD team.

This time the praise goes to our metal fixers for always following the detail and executing it with class. Congrats guys 👏

…Plus a couple of recent shots of the finished product. Lots of production coming up at Dawlish in the next few weeks so keep an eye out!

Earlier this year, saw the successful completion of both Phases 1B and 2D at Sherford for Taylor Wimpey.

Our teams delivered a full drylining package across both phases, maintaining high standards of workmanship, meeting programme requirements, and working collaboratively with all trades on site to produce a high volume of units.

We are proud to have worked with Taylor Wimpey on a development of this scale and to contribute to the continued progress at Sherford.
A big thank you to all of our teams and operatives for their consistent effort and hard work.

Looking forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.

We’re pleased to share the great progress made at our Bridport development for Vistry Group over the past few weeks.

Our teams have made excellent headway across multiple plots. With year end fast approaching, we are keeping the foot on the gas.

🚧 Project Update at Environments for Business

We’re excited to share progress on a new project for ‘Environments for business’ - Melrose House, Pyne’s Hill Exeter where we have been tasked with transforming this 2 storey office building into a modern, high quality workspace:

Our team has been busy on the following

- Metal stud partitions
- MF ceilings
- Steel Encasements
- Ply patressing
- Double boarding to all partitions
- Plastering works

The next stage of this project will be installation of grid ceilings throughout both floors after plastering has been completed…we can’t wait to see how this one turns out.

🔍 Site Visit – Taylor Wimpey Brook Vale, Dawlish

Always a pleasure to visit our Dawlish development and see the consistent quality being delivered on the ground.

We’re fortunate to work with such dedicated and skilled subcontractors who produce clean, high-standard work day in and day out - even under pressure from tight deadlines and busy schedules.

It’s fantastic to see some really good progress down at Saltash for Bloor Homes where we are now working in the 9th house so far 🙌🏼

Moving into some 2.5 storeys next week where we will see plenty of detail and lots of cooperation with trades on site.

These plots are looking really smart and we cannot wait to see the show homes complex open.

Things are really shaping up at Tregoad Holiday Park in Looe with the main pool hall nearing completion. The swimming pool ceiling in particular looks just fantastic! 😍

Grid ceilings to take place in the changing room area next week and that should be us wrapped up ✅
