I've had a lovely little training day today at Stuart Turner HQ in Henley-on-Thames. I was the only female as usual, but all the guys were really nice, so that was fab! Got some great goodies, learnt all about boosting mains pressure and got a better understanding of shower pumps. Now to put my training into practice!

I've had a busy few weeks recently, refurbishing my lovely customer's bathroom. A complete rip-out, including the wasteful boxing around the toilet. Adjusted pipes and re-built new slimmer boxing to accommodate a concealed cistern. Now the door doesn't hit the toilet when it's opened, lol! New flooring, changed the radiator to a towel radiator, installed a shower pump, modern tiling, all new suite, shower etc. A lovely fresh new look!

After having my van broken into last week, the robbing b-words not only took my power tools, but my Kane accessories and bag (luckily my analyser was in another nondescript bag, and they missed it). I emailed my rep Rebecca about what items I was missing so I could replace them, and they sent me out a CPA1 kit and bag for free! I'm so thankful to have a great analyser from a great manufacturer, thank you so much!

Well, what a week! After Dad giving us a huge scare on Sunday and literally dying 3 times with a blood clot in his heart, he came out of hospital on Wednesday and is doing well. I managed to get some plumbing in though, including tap changes, a new float valve in a cold water tank, removing a radiator, adjusting pipework, hanging a new radiator and installing a new outside tap, it's been a busy few days! If you've got any plumbing or heating issues, send me a message. My GasSafe registration came through yesterday, so as soon as I have my analyser, boiler services will be on the menu! I'll keep you all updated x

Phew, what a busy Sunday! Fixed two leaking pipes today, one that was feeding a toilet, and leaking into a loft space, and one that was behind an oven causing water damage to the wall and puddles on the floor! All sorted for the lovely customers, no more puddles. And I got to get my soldering gear out twice, result! 🔥🙂
