🚐 Van Update 🚐

Unfortunately, our van is still off the road and we’re still trying to get the issue sorted.

At the moment, I can still carry out some smaller local jobs where I can access a separate car, but any larger jobs that require the van and all of our equipment will need to be rescheduled until we’re back up and running.

I want to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Trust me, it’s frustrating me even more! We pride ourselves on being reliable and getting jobs done, so having the van out of action is far from ideal.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through this. We’ll keep everyone updated and will be in touch directly with anyone affected by rescheduled appointments.

Hopefully we’ll be back on the road very soon! 🤞💜

🚨 Van Down! Van Down! 🚨

Unfortunately, our Hire H.E.R van has developed a fault and the power steering has completely gone this morning. 😩

We’re hoping someone may be able to help or point us in the right direction as we need to get back on the road as soon as possible to continue helping our customers.

If you’re a mechanic, know someone who is, please get in touch ASAP! We’d be incredibly grateful for any recommendations or support.

Meet the faces behind Hire H.E.R 🔨✨

For those who don’t know us, we’re Jenna and Tilly — the two woman team behind Hire H.E.R.

Jenna is the handywoman behind the tools, taking on everything from repairs and maintenance to helping customers with those jobs they’ve been putting off. And me Tilly, works behind the scenes, looking after the admin, bookings, enquiries, and social media. ( and occasionally holds a ladder😂)

We started Hire H.E.R in November 2025 with a vision to provide a friendly, reliable service that people could trust, and we honestly haven’t looked back since. What began as an idea has grown into a business we’re incredibly proud of, thanks to the amazing support from our customers.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has trusted us, recommended us, and supported us along the way. Every job, message, review, and share means so much to us.

We’re excited to continue growing, meeting new people, and helping even more customers with their homes and projects in the future.
