Nice to see some of the wildlife waking up, it seems a slow year for emerging butterflies and dragonflies but more on more spotted on the daily!

Another humming bird moth yesterday, and the final boss mode toad today 💪

A common lizard last week, but this old camera guy isn't 18yrs old no more 👴...

Privy.. to some Privet for a Friday afternoon.

We tended to this lovely variegated hedge today, initially working through with secateurs removing any signs of reversion within the plant, tracing back of brambles, before rescuing the sides and top from last year's hedgecutter hero! Haha

Shaped to improve aesthetics but also allow low spots and dips to grow out, for a more even cut in years to come..

All necessary nesting bird checks completed pre cutting.

Reasonable too... how much do you think we charged for this?

We continue to do those grass resets for the season, here we had a particularly tricky front lawn cut and small back garden lawn to manage.

Although the weather was against us, we think you'll agree these came up well.

Today the team captured this beautiful visitor to a clients garden.

Hummingbird Hawk-moth 🦋

Did you know that these species hover in front of flowers, beating their wings about 70 - 80 times per second!?... no wonder we couldn't capture a video, we did try.

Not only are they unique for their flight ability, they also remember which flowers they have already visited, and return to their favourite nectar rich favs 😍
