Elgin artificial grass

First one of the year done. We followed on from .mchardy_resinbound , who have done a cracking job on the resin patio and path. We got to work ripping up the old artificial grass and discovered it had been installed with no w**d membrane and sand directly on top of the soil 🤦‍♂️. We installed w**d membrane on the whole area, back filled with MOT Type one hardcore and granite dust, in accordance with industry best standard regs, we then installed the Lido plus 30 artificial grass. Absolute stunner to start the year off in style.

Last job of the year done 🙌🙌. Finished for returning customers who are just about finished building their stunning property, that wouldn’t have looked out of place on MTV cribs!. (Showing my age there 👨‍🦳). Luckily the edges and MOT Type one hardcore subbase had already been completed for us arriving so it was just the granite dust to back fill and in with the Lido Plus 30 artificial grass.

Finished this one nearly two weeks ago but haven’t had a dry day since then to glue the last bit in the recess drain cover 🤦‍♂️ finally got a dry morning this morning to get it done🌤️ in time for the football this afternoon too 🍀⚽️🙌. We used the Fantasia artificial grass from .com2 supplied as usual by . Great end look for this garden and provides an all year round play area for the customers young children.

Completed earlier in the week in Elgin. Extended patio, new whirly gig, cobble border with black ice chuckies, 2x recess drain covers and Fantasia 35mm artificial grass supplied by and manufactured by .com2 . Lovely little job 👌👌.

Completed yesterday bringing an end to a very busy two months and the start of a well earned two week break for me 🙌 (from this job, I still have the other two jobs to keep up with 🚒😂). We were able to re-use the customer’s sons slabs, due to the fact they were poorly installed previously. Porcelain requires a full mortar bed, increased hardcore sub base and a priming slurry applied to the back. If all those processes are followed then they will not move or fail over time. No slab should ever be laid on a dot and dab method as these were previously. So, other than the slabs, we installed a sandstone cobble edge to give a bit of character, boxed in the existing tree with cobbles on edge and used white Mapei exterior grout for the patio and a grey grout for the cobbles to give a nice contrast. We will be back at a date tbc to re-turf the customers garden too 👌👌
