Starting out with a bare field on a north facing slope, our founder Ray Brown, plotted out the first ever map of the world gardens, representing the major continents of the world. Planted with rare and unusual plants from all over the globe, 40+ years on our gardens have matured into a majestic Devon landmark which can be visited each summer from April to the end of September. Plant World also boasts our highly recommended plant nursery which caters for gardeners of all levels and interests, selling everything from high quality summer bedding plants in the spring, to rare and unusual plant specimens, many of which are grown from seed, division of cuttings onsite by our expert team. Serving Coffee, cake and lunches everyday throughout the summer season to both visitors and our local regulars!

โ€œErysimum 'Monet's Moment' is a fragrant, short-lived evergreen perennial wallflower. Part of the Artist Series, it features dense spikes of color-changing flowers that emerge coral-pink and fade to mauve-purple against dark green foliage.

Key Growing Requirements
Sunlight: Full sun (prefers at least 6 hours daily) for optimal blooming.
Soil: Average to poor soil that is extremely well-draining. (Prone to root rot in boggy conditions).
Hardiness: Generally hardy down to roughly - 5C to -10C
Bloom Time: Spring through summer.

Care Tips
Pruning: Cut back spent flower spikes to encourage repeat blooming. Give the plant a light shaping trim after the flowering season is over, but avoid cutting into old, woody stems.
Watering: Once established, they become fairly drought-tolerant.
