This is our lovely Janine… 🫶🏼
If you’ve visited our stall, or even just wandered past, there’s a very good chance you’ve already had the pleasure of a good chin wag with her.
Janine has been part of Barton Bakes from the very beginning of our market journey, and she’s such a huge part of what we do and who we are. Whilst I’m usually at one side of the stall with my head down making pies, Janine is over the other side serving you lovely lot with the biggest smile, making everyone feel welcome and keeping the stall running smoothly.
She’s also somehow become best friends with every single dog on the market. They all know her, they all look for her, and they all get VERY excited when they spot her. She knows all of their names and always has a treat ready for them 🐶 🐾
I’ve been teaching Janine little bits of baking along the way too, and here she is making our pulled beef brisket & onion rag puddings like an absolute natural. 🥧
Janine and I go back many, many years, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side through this wild, wonderful journey.
Team BB wouldn’t be the same without her. ❤️
