Joining the project late on, brought in by 8build, we had just 3 months from project award to completion. Our dynamic approach and installation know how along with timely material supply and precise installation, ensured the success of this project. Worth it!

Project scope:
• 660m2 of aluminium decking, complete with drainage channels and gutters over 9 floors.
• 49 custom-designed planters, crafted from stainless steel with integrated lighting and irrigation systems. Powder coated to match the balconies.
• Tailored stepped access on level 8.
• 66 custom stainless steel lift threshold plates.

Design, supply and installation of 78m, 1800mm high glass balustrade. Application to the roof and inset balconies using square profile, jet black posts.

This project sees a combination of single, double and triple stack configurations across two blocks.

A galvanised finish was specified and supplied, accompanied by a recessed decking design achieving a flush floor finish.

The 12-story building’s comprehensive renovation prioritises sustainability as its core focus. This project marks the first major refurbishment undertaken by British Land following the initiation of their 2030 strategy.

ISW secured the tender in September from new client, 8build. Progress is currently in full-swing on the nine terrace areas, where aluminum decking and custom planters is being installed. The anticipated completion of the project is set for early 2024.

The final phase of this development saw works carried out by ISW on 6 houses. The noticeable difference between this space, at that of the appartments, is the preference of materials. The houses leverage the benefits of using glass more extensively.

The third and final phase of the development is complete. ISW obtained the architectural metal package for this project a little over two years ago. Back then, it stood as the most substantial package we had taken on, making the current successful completion particularly rewarding.

Standing proud on Clapham Common, initially built in 1915, this architecturally stunning building is now a residential space consisting of 63 units.

Interstellar was commissioned by SHS for the implementation of several key enhancements on this project. These included; the installation of an elegant frameless balustrade at the building's entrance, as well as the addition of external balustrades for the rooftop terrace apartments, complete with privacy screens. Furthermore, the stair landings were adorned with a sophisticated combination of glass balustrades and timber handrails, enhancing both safety and aesthetics.
