Hello, new and old followers!
We’ve recently gained a bunch of new followers, so we thought it was time to introduce ourselves! We’re a small team of two, Tom and Annie, and our furry friend, Roo.
Tom started the business as a furniture maker, but after a few years, he decided to switch to campers. He converted his beloved camper, “Wendy,” and fell in love with creating small, functional spaces.
Annie joined the team about six months ago. She comes from a farming background and has a biology degree! She’s been a valuable asset to the business, helping with all kind of tasks like cutting windows and using a router!
Roo has been working hard to earn his keep, holding various roles like “workshop supervisor,” “ball supervisor,” and “cuddles provider.”
We’ve been together for five years and love the outdoors! We’ve taken countless road trips and learned what a camper van really needs.
This month, we moved into a new workshop! This is a big deal for the business because our previous workshop was a great stepping stone, but we couldn’t have vans inside. So, we were limited to the weather and the flow of work. Our new place is everything we dreamed of - we have a whole roof over the workshop and vans, an office, a kitchenette, and a bathroom! But the best part is that we have a flat, level floor (the old workshop was an old milking parlour, so the floor was angled to push the 💩 down). Not ideal for workbenches or machines!
