First room completed in a lovely old cottage in Sutton Coldfield. This little snug is part of an extension built a few years ago. The usual settlement cracks needed attention. The original timber beam is beautiful so I was super careful to mask off and avoid any paint splashes. High quality plastering ensured nice crisp lines when cutting in up to the ceiling. Paint used was good old Dulux mixed up to a Farrow and Ball colour. Same quality of finish, at a third of the cost 👍🏻

A surprise makeover for a customers son whilst he was on a school trip. Customer found inspiration online, and together we designed the colour scheme. Achieved laser sharp lines with TESA painters tape using Dulux easycare Matt emulsion. Room was finished off with a new curtain rail, a new desk assembled and a few shelves dotted around. The lad was very pleased with the result 👌🏻

Just a reminder folks, my diary for next year is filling fast so if you're planning a project get in touch. Below is latest job refreshing a small lounge. Lots of prep involved sorting cracks on ceiling and walls. Now looking fresh and bright for the Christmas and New year🌲🎅🏼

Here's a lovely job, refreshing a hall, stairs & landing. The hero of the project is the stairs which were treated to a sanding, filling... & yet more sanding & finished with a beautiful Valspar, dark blue eggshell. The walls & ceilings were extensively cracked. The plaster around all of the light switches & plugs were also in a poor state. A large portion of time was spent raking out the cracks, filling, second filling & then sanding to an invisible finish. The skirts & door trims were finished in the same colour as the walls (pebble grey), to create a contemporary, yet classic finish.
