Not everyone was convinced it was gym day… 👀🐾

spent a good few minutes supervising from the doorway before deciding whether the garden room gym was worth the effort that day. We’re not sure he was convinced! 🤔🥰

From neighbour recommendation to a dream Eden Garden Room Gym 🏡✨.

Chris & Kate came to us looking for something far beyond a standard garden room - they wanted a high-performance home gym that worked perfectly for their training style, while still staying within permitted development regulations.

The challenge?
✔️ Extra internal height for TRX (Total Resistance eXercise) workouts
✔️ Reinforced ceiling for full bodyweight training
✔️ Large glazing and bifold doors overlooking the pool
✔️ Seamless indoor-outdoor feel
✔️ All within strict height restrictions

Our solution was a bespoke 6m x 3.5m gym room featuring a smart dig-down foundation to create additional headroom without increasing the external height. We also installed a reinforced flitch beam in the ceiling, allowing the TRX system to be safely secured directly into the structure.

The result is a sleek, modern training space with stunning garden and pool views, giving Chris & Kate everything they’d expect from a premium gym, right at the end of their garden.

This project is a great example of how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship can turn specialist requirements into a beautiful, functional space ✨
