Mother Nature definitely threw a challenge our way with 10 days of non-stop rain, but the team pushed through to bring this vision to life.

"Right from the very first meeting with Daryl and Will to gather our ideas for the initial quote, they were professional and friendly with lots of good advice on the best way to achieve our vision.

Even though I moved the goalposts several times before and during the work, they were very patient and nothing was too much trouble.

Will and Josh worked so hard to remove our old garden completely and create the new one. It took 10 days with pretty much continuous rain so was not ideal weather for having to dig everything out but they carried on without complaint.

All my "can you just....." requests were met with a smile and they did the tweaks that were asked for even when they were busy with everything else. They definitely went the extra mile.

Today we had the fantastic opportunity to rescue this beautiful, mature cherry tree from one of our suppliers, Kingsdown Nurseries. Due to some severe dieback, it was unfortunately unsellable and destined for the bonfire. We just couldn't bear to see that happen, so we took it on to give it a second chance at life!

Moving a mature tree is no small feat. A massive thank you to Ash from Project Coffee and Martin—with their help, we managed to safely transfer it off the flatbed and onto a slide-sheet, allowing us to tow it round into the field using the truck.
It is now safely in the ground, and we’ve given it plenty of feed and deep watering. We will be keeping a very close eye on its progress over the coming months to help it bounce back to full health.

We are absolutely thrilled that this beautiful tree has found its forever home at the Tadpole Garden Village memorial site. A huge thank you to Kraig from TGV in Bloom for granting us permission to plant it here. We hope the whole community enjoys it for many years to come! 💚
