Small little garden job completed!!!

Another deck taken up that unfortunately had rotten out. We then set to work and this is what we did:

➡️2.5 tonne of hardcore put back in
➡️Off white porcelain flags then laid on a full bed off mortar.
➡️Jointed up with a quality resin compound specifically designed for porcelain flags.
➡️ Decorative stones around edges adding that clean finish.
➡️Eco drain installed to help drainage.
➡️Granite dust added to bring grass upto correct level.
➡️Raised bed built from plained timber boards.
➡️New gate installed.

Great finish for this lovely private garden. The customer is very happy, already buying furniture to add to it.

Always nice to see when a customer gives feedback

So here we have a little job we have just completed. The customer wanted to replace the timber deck with composite. After taking the old deck off it was clearly obvious this hadn't been erected to the best ability. The central supports for this structure were 2x2 posts which had been hammered into the ground. 😱.
The deck moved from side to side, could be lifted up and generally was not safe. With this being at least 3ft high it needed a lot more support. So the b23 team set to work and added 3x3 posts at 500mm intervals that have been concreted into the ground. We bolted the rim joists into the wall at the side, behind and added noggins to prevent the joists twisting.
The customer is really happy with the new look and can't wait to use it now it is safe.

The biggest challenge to date for me and Tim Golding. This was a very complex media wall, which really took some thought and planning. It began as a flat wall with the fire being recessed but the customer and ourselves thought it would look better to bring the fire out and form a chimney breast so the glass sides were visible. We believe this is our best media wall to date and one we are really proud of.
