Signs of Spring are making our hearts sing, with all the possibilities of growth and the beauty that it brings.

A January detox, but with your home? At a discounted rate? Go on then. Whilst we totally disagree with the usual January pressures to go on a new diet to pay penance for the festive indulgences. And we don’t think the liver needs any special juice diets to help it detox, it’s pretty clever and can do that all by itself. We do think January can be a great time to have a bit of a clear out at home. Out with the old, to make space for the new. Perhaps the kids have all grown up a bit, and without wishing to sound like a sad scene from Toy Story, aren’t playing with their old favourites, so they’re collecting dust and taking up space. Perhaps you’ve welcomed some new ornaments, home wares, cushions and that sort of thing. And you need a hand creating space on the shelf or the sofa.

This is Bo just giving you a gentle reminder that it’s not too late to book your January Re.Store (at our January reduced rate) to help start the new year on the right footing.

Let us help you tackle that overwhelming room you’ve been meaning to sort but haven’t quite known where to start. Let us dive deep into the back of the kitchen cupboards and finally work out if there really are matching lids for that Tupperware. She loves to drag everything out into the daylight to properly investigate and ensure she has all the facts before it’s time to summon you into the interrogation room!

Once we start, we can’t stop....We have a few clients who once we have started in their house don’t want us to stop. This wonderful client’s flat in Wanstead is lovely but got a bit out of hand during lockdown due to full time working. We have slowly gone through the house room by room decluttering, reorganising and changing. This room was an unloved spare room that we transformed into a light and airy home office that she now loves working in. We redecorated, sourced a great desk, organised her filing and generally made her a space that makes sense.

We make a mess oh Lord do we make a mess! And then we compile and group and zone and clean and place things together in lovely baskets or crates or lazy Susans and you’re left with an incredibly organised pantry or cupboard that makes perfect sense and is easy to keep tidy. A spare room is a luxury but when it comes a dumping ground it’s time to assess why. Generally it’s because there is a lack of organisation in the rest of the property and not everything has a ‘home’. Once the dumping starts its difficult to stop until there is an organised system in place.
Our client has asked us for assistance as she is working full time from home and simply doesn’t have the time (or inclination, as let’s face it, working from home on your own is draining both physically and mentally) to step back and look at her home as a whole and get things in order. We have been tasked with organising, decluttering and re imagining her spaces. She is a wonderful client and so grateful to have us bring calm and order to her lovely home. We’ll have more to follow as the project develops.
