I should have changed my name a while ago to ‘This Girl Can Tile While Pregnant’

As I am now closed for maternity leave!

I won’t be responding to enquiries by email, direct message or calls for the foreseeable but I’ll be sure to post on here when I reopen for business.

Thanks to all my past clients, particularly those who were accommodating to my bump as it was getting larger! And also to all the industry help I’ve had along the way.

Basket weave bond with Nina cambells rivage tile range in ochre and coral. 5 tile width didn’t fit 1 full length perfectly so allowances needed to be made within grout lines.

What areas do I cover?

Driving in London is a nightmare, I’d rather save my energy for the job itself, so I don’t cover a huge area. The majority of my work is in E10, E11, E17, and some parts of E5, E9, E15, E12, E7, E18, E20 IG8, N16. Contact me with your FULL address to check if I cover your area, sometimes it will depend on what type of job it is.

What size tile do I work on?

I specialise in smaller format tiles. The absolute largest tile I tend to work with is 600 x 300 mm or 450 x 450mm for floors (or the equivalent) I work on smaller than those measurements for walls.

I don’t do grout cleaning or re grouting. I will take the odd repair job (but not all) and will be dependent on the circumstances.

How to contact me

I’m usually up a ladder or have a bucket of adhesive on the go so I can’t often answer the phone. Direct message, email or WhatsApp is usually best so I can keep all the job details in one place. Let me know your address and some details of the job, photos are always welcomed and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Simple but very effective, contrasting tiles working together to section off ‘areas’.

The sink wall, floor and bath panel are wrapped in a matt green geometric tile while the shower walls have a more rustic pale blue gloss linear tile. All grouted in a pale blue grout.

There’s so much tile in this room it felt weird not to do the ceiling.

Floor to ceiling, full wall wrap and bath sides with an access panel.

The wall tiles are made to have a handmade effect similar to zellige tile. As they aren’t perfectly square they can run off level quickly. Especially if you rely on spacers a bit too much.

Floor and bath side tiles are Marseille rose from
Wall tiles are Vernice cloud from walls and floors- tilers take note, the transit wax wouldn’t come off like normal. It took a day and a half just to remove it. so allow extra time if you ever end up laying these.
