For the love of euphorbia! I adore it in all its many, many forms. This one obviously likes my garden. I think I grew it from seed about 10 years ago. It disappeared after a year and I forgot about it and then it popped up again and has been gently dotting itself around ever since. Never a problem - always a joy 💚

On the drawing board! I seem to be designing lots of gardens for families with teens at the moment. It's the point when the climbing frame and trampoline get ditched and it's all about zoning the garden to give everyone their own space to chill out.

This garden has it all: comfy grown up seating area ✅ expansive dining ✅ outdoor cooking zone ✅ firepit hang out ✅ Even a sun terrace! ✅ And there's still room for a lawn for the dog 🐕

What a day to be back at our Aldersbrook project which we planted at the end of last summer ☀️🌿🌷 Gardens are never finished. They evolve and grow and it's important to keep nudging them in the right direction. Today we planted up the two ponds and gave the borders a once over ready for summer. Looking forward to getting this one properly photographed later this year!

At last these gorgeous pots from are on site in and planted up! I love the warm, soft brown colour (bespoke to this project) and it won't be long before the muehlenbeckia gets going and starts spilling over the edges of the pots to soften everything 🌱

And they don't just look good in the day time - aftwe dark, clever angled lights set into the paving wash up and over the front of the pots to create a stunning feature.

Gardens are not just for summer! If, like me, you crave vitamin D, make sure you've got a sunny spot to sit in all year round. Choose furniture with all weather fabric if you can so you don't need to go hunting for cushions because, let's face it, by the time you've found them the sun will probably have hopped it. Or if you don't have a garden, do what one of my neighbours does and set up a deckchair under a street tree and soak up those rays ☀️
