Someone was checking for open cars in our neighbourhood.
That led me down a rabbit hole on relay attacks and keyless entry theft.

This is my solution: a handmade wooden Faraday box, designed to block key signals and bring a bit of peace of mind.

Another madit lab project — practical problems, solved through thoughtful design.

They say baby animals are scientifically cute —
So I made keyrings that prove it 🐾
Handmade from wood, leather, and a bit of curiosity.

Not everything needs to be fancy — sometimes, it just needs to blend in.

This little wooden panel was my fix for two unsightly drain covers right outside the house. It’s just laminate flooring, reinforced, waterproofed, and grounded with a bit of clever thinking (and some L-brackets).

The cat? She’s just here for aesthetics.

Let’s see how long it holds up. Got a smarter way to do this? Tell me — we are listening.👇

The wind howls. The tree stands strong. And the stake? You won’t even notice it.

This was our first experiment at Madit Labs — creating an invisible tree stake that blends into nature, not distracts from it.

📦 We all unbox things.
But the Earth doesn’t throw anything away.
Every wrapper, every filler, every layer—it all stays.
When you something, ask yourself:
Which future are you unboxing?
At madit.uk, we choose less plastic, more purpose.
Because what we make… we leave behind.

Something I measured unintentionally.
During engraving, AQI climbed to 500 in a few seconds.
That’s the ceiling on the sensor in my workshop. Tag or Share it with someone who might benefit from this knowledge.

Have you ever looked at something and thought — I could make this better?
That’s exactly why we started madit labs.
To reimagine the everyday with real tools, natural materials, and bold ideas.

It started as a DIY experiment with clay balls and a toilet roll.
Now it’s a handcrafted Kumiko oak diffuser — open top for oils, geometric airflow for maximum scent, and a design that makes people stop and ask: “What is that?”

Designing a Product Chapter-3: Every challenge leads to a breakthrough.

Friction fit wasn’t the answer—so the search began. From traditional to modern joinery, every technique was tested until the solution became clear: a permanent joint for lasting strength.

But the journey didn’t stop there. A new finish, refined grooves, precise angles—each adjustment bringing the design closer to perfection.

✨ And finally, it all came together. Rustic black wood, elegant brown leather, and a build that solved every flaw while staying true to premium craftsmanship.
