Today I'm painting over a wall that holds more than just paint. For over 20 years, it's been a canvas of family life — children's drawings, handwritten jokes, messages, memories, and moments that can never truly be replaced.
As the sanding begins and the old marks disappear, it's a reminder that nothing lasts forever. Walls change, houses evolve, and time moves on. But the memories made within those walls don't disappear with the paint. They stay with us, carried in our hearts, our photographs, our stories, and the people we shared them with.
It's a beautiful reminder to cherish the time we have with our loved ones, because in the end, it's not the walls we remember most — it's the laughter, the love, and the memories made around them."

I haven't painted a mural in years, so stepping back into something this bold was a challenge. Love it or hate it, I gave it everything I had. Not every design is everyone's cup of tea, but that's the beauty of creating something unique for a client. Finished off the cloakroom today and I'm proud of the effort that's gone into it.

I'm back!!!!

Back at this beautiful property today to finish off the cloakroom. I completed the rest of the house several weeks ago, but this was the only room I didn't have time to finish at the time.

Now, I know the colours throughout the house won't be everyone's cup of tea as they're quite bold and dark, but that's the beauty of decorating – everyone has different tastes and styles. It's important to respect people's choices and remember that what matters most is that the homeowner loves it.

A little kindness and understanding go a long way. Looking forward to getting this final room completed and bringing the whole project together.

Running a business is something I'm proud of, but behind every quote, every job, and every long day is a family that means everything to me.
Like many people, I juggle work, family life, looking after my disabled son, visiting customers for quotes, and trying to make sure everyone around me is happy and supported. Some days are tougher than others, and the pressure can be a lot, but I always try to put on a smile and keep moving forward.
One thing I've learned is that there's a big difference between constructive criticism and negativity. Constructive criticism helps us grow and improve. Negativity only brings people down.
We never truly know what someone else is dealing with behind closed doors, so a little kindness, patience, and understanding can go a very long way. Let's support one another, lift each other up, and remember that we're all doing our best.
Be kind. Be respectful. Help each other where you can. The world could always use a little more of that. ❤️
