Finishing touches in the Friday sun. ☀️

There’s nothing quite like the combination of natural oak and hand-dressed Cotswold stone under a blue sky. We’ve just wrapped up the installation of this bespoke arched gates, designed and crafted in-house by our joinery team to sit perfectly within the new stone walling.

It’s these final details that really define a renovation.

Following on from the exterior, here is a look at the internal renovation of the master suite at ‘Cotswold Cottage.’
The goal here was to bring a modern, high-end finish to the interior while respecting the original character of the building. We managed the full fit-out, coordinating all trades to ensure a seamless transition between the heritage stone outside and the contemporary living space inside.
The Internal Work Included:
• Master Ensuite: Full refurbishment featuring high-spec fixtures and tiling.
• Modern Services: Complete update of the plumbing and electrical systems throughout.
• Structural Integration: Working with the original timber and stone to create a functional, modern space.
As with the external work, getting us involved at the early stages helped ensure the technical side of the build supported the final design.

Project Completion | Cotswold Cottage
We recently handed over ‘Cotswold Cottage’ following a comprehensive internal and external renovation. This project is a great example of how we combine traditional materials with modern project management to deliver a high-end, durable finish.
The Project Scope Included:
• Cotswold Stone Roofing: A full replacement of the stone tile roof, preserving the traditional aesthetic.
• Stone Renovation: Full lime repointing using traditional mortars to allow the original masonry to breathe.
• Structural Work: A complete rebuild of the characteristic brick chimneys and internal modernization.
• Bespoke Joinery: Custom-crafted windows and garage doors by our sister company
• Full Project Management: Overseeing the entire transformation from early planning through to the final internal details.
At Oaktree Renovations, we advocate for early involvement in the design phase. This allows us to provide the professional oversight and craftsmanship needed for a seamless, high-quality result.
