SIA LICENSED SECURITY OPS
🌟Temporary Position with immediate start - Permanent hours until October 24th
Preferably Have 1 Year Plus Experience
Irregular work / zero hour - on a self employed pay basis
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons at licensed venues. Adhering to policies of the venue to ensure customer safety, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
-Duties & Responsibilities -
Managing incidents, maintain customer relationships, radio use, completion of site specific paper work, premises checks across sites or venues and with on the ground staff and with local authorities and venue management.
* To be based (when so instructed) at the front of the venue and to welcome customers to the venue.
* To always maintain cordial relationships with customers.
* To ensure that the policies of the venue are implemented in respect of admission control.
* To ensure access to anyone whose presence might render the license or person in charge subject to prosecution for any offence.
* To ensure that consent is obtained from each customer in front of witnesses prior to any search taking place, if personal searches are required as a condition of entry.
* To take instruction to be based at strategic points within the venue to provide information to customers and to observe and if required, correct behaviours of customer which is affecting other customers.
* To patrol the venue / Site ensuring persons are not using restricted areas. Ensuring that fire exits, and escape routes are kept clear, and that toilet areas are kept free and sanitary.
* To report any hazards to the duty manager, likely to be a danger or likely to endanger life.
* To assist any person involved in an accident on the premises, to provide full co-operation in recording of an accident.
* To work as a member of a team, providing help and assistance where and as requested. To always communicate with members of the team.
-Licence/Certification-
* Driving Licence (preferred)
* SIA (required)
* First Aid at Work
* ACT awareness-both certifications
* Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred.
* Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with patrons while enforcing rules and regulations.
A valid Door Supervisor licence is required for this position. Must have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
