Planning approved for a lovely new residential project in Charleville, Co. Cork.

This pair of contemporary semi-detached homes has been carefully designed to sit comfortably within its town setting—combining clean, modern forms with natural materials like Liscannor stone and soft landscaping to create a warm, welcoming streetscape.

Thoughtful design, efficient use of space, and strong connections between indoors and outdoors were key drivers from the outset—resulting in homes that feel both practical and uplifting to live in.

Great to finally see some progress on our retro-fit project last week. The structure of the house is in place ready to be wrapped in an warm blanket of external insulation. This combined with an innovative airtightness strategy, MVHR system, triple glazing, PV solar panels and cooling from a chilled ceiling system should go along way to compliance if not full certification with the Passive House EnerPHit classification.

Delighted to have finally obtained approval for the final piece of the planning puzzle for this house transformation project in a Conservation Area in Chiswick. The development includes a Pool House garden building with a swimming pool, a home gym and a full house renovation with single-storey and two-storey extensions to both the front and the rear of the house. There were multiple Pre-Application Advice & subsequent planning submissions to get his one across the line. We can now start progressing the technical drawings and assess the best route for the client to complete the build for their budget.

The house will have a new open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Area and a separate Living Room centred around a beautiful courtyard garden which is also visible from the front entrance Hall as you enter the house. There will be a 3/4 bedrooms with a newly converted loft space consisting of a Rumpus Room and Shower Room.
