Second time for cutting this large hedge. Very high roadside but easier to reach from the garden with a platform ladder.

A small seating area was created here at the back of a garden. A circle was cut out of the lawn, brick edged then membrane and Dorset chard flint chippings. Trellis was then attached to posts and painted black. The black stain against the green plants is a good colour contrast

This was a revisit to garden where the lawn was reduced to two interlocking circles. Customer had a conservatory built which impacted on the access around the garden.
The original lawn edging was switched angles and a semi circle hard standing was created from the block bricks that were the patio area. The path to the gate was also extended

A small garden with poor lawn which was not really useable. Turf removed, oval marked out, brick edges with terracotta bricks. New turf on top of good top soil and Cotswold chippings onto a membrane

A large wasted front garden which the customer wanted to make more use of by making it more private with a hedge. The shape of the hedge was laid out using a hose, turf removed and the soil improve. 82 hedge saplings were planted staggered. In May the following year ALL took although advised by the nursery a 10% failure rate.
Height and width has improved since and the hedge is thriving

Reduction of the overall expanse of the lawn to redefine the shape. The lawn was cut out to 2 interlocking circles which were edges with 'buff' colour bricks. The right hand border was left to expose soil and the left hand border and ground area was laid to membrane and Dorset chard flint chippings
An arch was erected at the back as a feature to give the garden another point of interest

Large poorly draining lawn was unusuable in this home for entertaining. Area was dug out and decking frame sat on concrete footing. Raised flower bed also built

New lawns laid in a terrace garden at the rear and also the front garden

A typical new build garden with minimal patio area, lawn up to the fencing, mo planting and poor soil and drainage.
Lawn was completely removed except for a circle which was brick edges. The patio was extended by two 600ml slabs. A brick edged border was created at the back and the soil improved. An arch was added and a shed erected. What was the lawn was covered in membrane and Dorset chard flint added. The customers love and flair for gardening and planting show's how the garden developed in the last few pictures in just a few months

A side and front garden mainly laid to lawn and borders. Pathways were created here to better define the space and give a sense of journey.
Lawn was removed with a lawn stripper, paths marked out and block pave bricks sued to the edge the path. Dorset chard flint was laid onto a membrane. Garden plants were added and moved to soften the edges
