It’s recommended to turn and lubricate your stopcock twice a year. If it weeps, this will need sorting as it can lead to the valve seizing. I’ve recently upgraded a customers valves to lever ball valves which are more reliable and easier to turn. A working water valve can save thousands of pounds in the unfortunate event of a water leak.
