For once a sunny Saturday morning 😄. If you’re looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift come and take a look at the nursery. We’ve got lots of lovely planters available from £4.95. Flowering cherry trees are now bursting with colour and the camellias are starting to flower. We also have vouchers available at the nursery so they can used at a later date. Open Monday to Saturday 9-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm

What a fantastic day today the sun is still up in the sky 😂. Plants are starting to think it’s spring as well. Primroses are all now bursting with colour as well as the roses all starting to shoot. We have our largest ever number of varieties (full list on the website). Fruit trees and ornamental trees are budding up nicely. Lots of ready made planters also available for the perfect gift. Open Monday to Saturday 9-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm

I think we’re ready!! We open tomorrow at 9am for the 2026 season. We’ve grown more ourselves than ever. Over 360 varieties of perennials, 180 varieties of shrubs. We’ve also got hedging, fruit trees. Ornamental trees and a massive range of Italian plants. I know tomorrow looks like the only dry day in the next two weeks but I’m sure spring will start at some point!! Come and have a look at what we have to offer. Hope everyone is surviving the horrendous weather ☔️ 🌧️. Just to let you all know we are reopening next weekend Saturday 14th February. What’s more romantic than walking around Woolpit Nurseries 😂. More information to come but we’ve got our largest selection of home grown perennials, shrubs and hedging we’ve ever done this spring. Plus a wider selection of our Italian plants for that instant garden.

Well that’s us finished for another year. I personally want to thank each and everyone that has supported us again this year. Our customers are fantastic and the support you give us is truly appreciated. We’ve grown over the years but try to keep our family nursery as it was intended when Bob and Pam started it in 1978. We lost Pam this year to dementia which made the spring a difficult time especially for Catherine but everyone’s support was truly moving. I wish each and everyone a fantastic Christmas and new year and hope to see everyone back in the spring when the weather warms up a little. From Andrew, Catherine and all the team at Woolpit Nurseries 🙏

We’re nearly finished for another season. We will close at 5pm on Friday until mid-February. We still have 50 trees left to sell before then so deals to be done 😉. Hand made wreaths are now on sale at the nursery. All sizes of Christmas trees available both Nordman Fir (non-drop) and Norway Spruce (traditional). All trees are individually priced and opened out for you to see the shape. All inside in a well lit dry greenhouse. We also offer the service where you can come and pick your tree and leave it with us until you are ready to collect. Open Monday-Saturday 9-5pm and Sundays 10-4pm. 🎄
