Growing your own veg is so satisfying. The colours, texture, juiciness, and taste are always so much more than shop bought. Look at the colour of this stunning beetroot. Picked this morning and will be on the table tonight with roast chicken, bbq beans, salad and sweet potato 😋

This garden in Otley was a blank canvas with little interest or planting. The brief was to create a usable and beautiful outdoor space for entertaining both friends and grandchildren.
A path to the sunny corner, at the bottom of the garden, created a great destination, entertaining space, and somewhere the planting and small orchard could be appreciated.
The walls and meaningful pergola provide an ideal surface and structure to grow climbing plants. And the borders which sweep round join the house and patio to end of the garden.
Existing planting and fruit trees were relocated in the planting plan, unfilled with new planting.
