I really enjoyed this project and think the results look great!
I painted the alcoves and shelving in a Farrow & Ball colour called ‘Treron’, this was colour matched using Johnstones paint. It's a really lovely warm earthy colour that has given the space a rich, timeless feel that works perfectly against the exposed brickwork.
The base units started as IKEA pieces, but were adapted by making a base with Torus skirting, new sides, bespoke doors, and finished off with an oak veneered MDF top, treated with a browning wax for that warm, natural look.
To help bring the idea to life from the start, I created an AI mock-up before any work began — making it easier for the client to visualise the end result and tweak the design with confidence.
Finishing off by mounting the TV above the fireplace for a clean, central focal point.
A great example of how a bit of planning and customisation can completely transform a space.
