After an immersive and unusually fast prep’ stage with some awesome clients. We came full circle from potentially dark natural woods and heavy block colour ideas…… to the decision to embrace the brass! After the client had seen the tiles and the Hudson Reed wall unit in close proximity to each other at Eurotiles Of Rustington (thanks Wayne👍🏻), there was no turning back.
I took out an old cupboard and carried out some additional building prep work. Buried all pipework, waste and even decided to move the position of the old clay soil to accommodate a more centralised toilet. A lot of digging and prep work whilst aligning with other trades on site etc. This room is now 40% larger with every modern bit of kit and fittings to bring together a super modern shower room. Toasty underfloor heating adds a little extra also.
19 days later we have this. 👍🏻
Clients are over the moon. 😜

One of the latest. A full footprint loft extension complete with a wetroom. Minimalist throughout and the free standing bath overlooking the views through the six Velux’s is a nice touch.

Some lighting work to brush up on still but the joy on the clients face makes it all worth the effort. 👍🏻

Finally all done. This small en-suite has a mix of products. Roper Rhodes Semi recessed basin unit including a marble top and Burlington Pillar taps with flip waste, a Frontline semi-frameless 1000x800 enclosure, my super favourite Mira Platinum dual outlet digital shower, a close coupled rimless fully back to wall close coupled toilet, the 1600x700 Carronite bath and Burlington taps.
The flooring is Italian and very robust and ideal for bathrooms and the tiling is also Italian porcelain 600x300 rectified. (Thanks Versatile Ceramics)
The cabinet is Bauhaus and complete will all modern features.
Lighting and all electrics completed by clients own Sparkie. Good job all round.
I finished the room off with a hand finished threshold in Oreca.

Clients super happy.

I took this job on and it nearly broke me 😂
Cast iron bath cemented into the wall, with four layers to remove. I had to hack everything off to the brickwork and take care of split level flooring. It has been a bit of a beast but nearly there now. Watch this space.

The usual crazy run up to Christmas.... where has the year gone? What’s been going on?
A few shots of a main bathroom and en-suite in Climping. That’s five weeks gone!
This ‘weekend retreat’ received an entire new water and central heating system as well as the two rooms and downstairs loo overhaul.
High spec’ throughout, twin controllers for digital high pressure showers, top of the range Geberit throughout, and who doesn’t like Crosswater products eh?
A small tile detail change in each room and with that, very happy clients.

Two very tired rooms knocked into one. This project was a bit of a beast. Old gravity system out and a new unvented system in the loft. Two separate digital systems for the bath and shower. Bespoke Oreco wood for the bath surround and floor. Bespoke glass for the shower screen. Full rounded pebbles on the bath wall, inverted 100 x 350 wall tiles and 800x800 concrete effect tiles on the floor and wet zone. Underfloor heating, 8 spot lights, power points for dual fuel towel rails (on order) and an old restored work bench converted for the sit on top basin.
The home also had a new shower room and toilet installed downstairs first before this started.
Complete water delivery system overhaul (including new main), downstairs project and then the main massive project. 6 weeks start to finish. 4 months in the planning. Client buzzing.

It’s been a while, busy 🐝.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, a problem can’t be resolved for the client. Ive just finished the latest shower room for a lovely older lady in a retirement village. Lots of lovely products as usual including my favourite Mira Platinum digital shower system. I was in the lady’s loft until 7:45pm last night and have been there all day today (including an emergency dash to Guildford to purchase a replacement controller) in order to remedy the problem but sadly I failed to resolve it. This is especially frustrating as I’m away tomorrow for a holiday and therefore have to hand the problem back to Mira and my client will have to wait another day before being able to use her new shower!!
But guess what? Mira’s after care is second to none so I’m certain the client will be happier in 48 hours. The client is very understanding of course.

Communication is key as always.
