I'm loving the results of this job I completed last week!

My client wanted to cover over some underlying lines and bumps in their wall whilst adding some warmth and character to the room.

So I suggested panelling it, (I do love a bit of panelling), and it's also quite fun and satisfying to fit!

Today, I did a little job of fitting a small shelf to the wall for a disabled gentleman.

He told me he was an avid Liverpool fan who had been given some lovely novelty items as Christmas presents.

He just wanted to be able to see all his Liverpool memorabilia on display somewhere safe.
It's such a quick and easy job for me, but he was chuffed to bits with it, and it seemed to make his day.

I like putting smiles on people faces - especially those in need. That's why I do what I do! 😊

Happy New Year folks!

I hope 2026 brings you peace, love and good health. 😊

It's been a cold and wintery start to this year, hence I am working indoors at the moment.
So if you need any curtains or blinds putting up, pictures hanging or painting doing, then get in touch.
I can also help with some carpentry, sanding, loft insulation, and many other little snagging jobs.😄
Gardening will resume when the weather is a little milder. Thank you. 😊

Wishing all of my customers and fellow neighbours alike a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy 2026!

Thank you so much for a fab 1st year with all of the exciting jobs helping local residents with their DIY projects and gardens.
I'm very ready for wine and mince pies now but will be back in Jan to carry on the Home & Garden Rescue.

I'm very pleased with this!

For this one, I enlisted the help from my friend and carpenter Nic Bowker from Coastal Carpentry Sussex, as the handrail was being fitted for an elderly couple who were a bit unsteady on their feet.
It was important to me that it was fitted with absolute precision and tightly to the wall and because sometimes two people working together are better than one!
We and the client are very pleased with how it turned out.
Cut to size, screwed, glued, sealed and ready for painting! 😊

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!

December the 1st has finally arrived, and so the countdown to Christmas begins! 🌟

I am almost fully booked for the month, which I am very grateful for. 😊

However, if you're still looking for a Handywoman to help with getting the house ready for Christmas, then I have the following days available.

• Thursday 4th (all day)
• Friday 19th (all day)
• Monday 22nd (all day)
• Tuesday 23rd (morning only)

My services include:
Painting, fitting blinds and curtain poles, shelving, sanding, flatpack assembly, hanging artwork & mirrors, general DIY jobs, and much more.
