Based in Wythall (with local travel around the Midlands area) I have been up and running for a while with an increasing customer base, which is fantastic. I have Public Liability Insurance as well as full 'DBS' security vetting should anyone I am working for wish to have that little more piece of mind. I'm a bit of a 'Jack of all Trades' as I offer, gardening, painting and decorating, plastering,

minor electrical work, plumbing, bathrooms, and any other general work that may be required no matter how small.

I was asked to paint the handrail and all the woodwork under the stairs (so to speak), to also take out the middle section and fit spindles.

Enjoyed this one, although it was challenging but what a difference its made to the light in the hallway!

I was asked to do a few jobs but as usual, forgot to take before photos of most of what I did!! 😆... but i did take a few before pictures of the bathroom I was asked to paint 👍🏻.

All the woodwork was done, as well as replacing some skirting that had blown as it had got wet.

Fab colour which the bathroom could definitely take because of the amount of natural light 😀👍🏻

Long post!!

Tomorrow is the 6th June.... 82 years since the d-day landings on the beaches of Normandy.

Was it something I ever knew about or gave a second thought too? - No

Has that changed over the past 20 years for me? - Yes.

I'd never been to Normandy before but the first time I stood on Omaha beach, it felt different. To think that thousand and thousand of allied troops landed on these beaches, fought their way off them and liberated France is mindblowing.

If you have watched 'Saving Private Ryan', those opening sequences i think are the most realistic portrait of what it must have left like.

To be here and stand on that beach is very emotional. We dont commemorate D-Day in the UK in the way i think we should. We don't support our service personnel in the way we should.

So im over here this year and I hope to pay my respects.

I was lucky enough to meet Harry Billinge a few years ago, but there are very few of them left, as he said... the real heroes

Keep them alive, keep them in your mind and never ever forget the sacrifices they made. ❤️🇫🇷

So this was a job from a little while ago.

Ive cheated a little as I didnt skim it, but the homeowner is currently having some proper big boy building work done at the moment and they skimmed it haha.. but I was all thanks to me the bigger work was able to start 😆
