Was having a bit of a crisis of confidence with painting, I did a couple of commissions for people that were a bit crap ...

Was having a bit of a crisis of confidence with painting, I did a couple of commissions for people that were a bit crap and rushed so for the last year or so I've been researching stuff, reading books trawling through oil painting groups on Facebook etc trying to gain knowledge and learn colour theory properly so I can do stuff based on genuine understanding instead of so much trial and error. Been really hard work and not much fun for ages but just lately starting to get pretty close, most of the time without having to stop and think. We'll see how it goes had a couple of hours looking at this today and I think the colour is working well 👍
