Falcon Engineering Company Ltd. Falcon Builders is a Civil Engineering, Architecture and construction Company location at Manjai. It is established by Alagie Njie and Bakary F Njie.

Njie A&B building and engineering service now Falcon Engineering Company LTD is established in early 2011. The company derives its name Njie A & B, from its founders, A represent Alagie and B represent Bakary. In 2017 new partners were added and the name of the company change to Falcon Engineering Company LTD. Alagie have study civil engineering both OND and HND at shaikh mahfous technical instit

ute. He was also conducting part time lecture on structural mechanist at the same institution. Alagie is currently passuing executive masters in Real Estate and Construction Management at Institute of Real Estate and Finance (IREF) India. He is responsible for all our engineering drawings, structural detailing, detail drawings, site management and presentation of project budget estimate. As for Bakary; he have study bachelor of community building and design (architecture) at university of the Gambia a program which was introduce and supervised by Dalhousie university of Canada and Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology at Shibpur, Howrah, India. He is responsible for all architecture designing, official correspondent and administration. Since our establishment, the company have provided consultancy & construction services to a wide range of people and organization in both the public and private sector.

APPRECIATION and ACKNOWLEDGMENT

NAWEC Regional Contact Center Project Handover.

On behalf of Falcon Builders, we are pleased to formally express our sincere appreciation following the successful completion and handover of the NAWEC Regional Contact Center located in Kanifing.
We are honored to have served as the architectural firm for this important project, which has now been officially handed over to National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) as the beneficiary. We also acknowledge with gratitude the valuable funding support provided by the African Development Bank Group, whose commitment to development continues to make impactful projects like this possible.

We would like to extend our special thanks to NAWEC’s Project Manager, Manjang for his professionalism, coordination, and dedication throughout the ex*****on of the project.
Our appreciation also goes to the contractor, View of 360 Architects for their collaboration and commitment to delivering quality work.

Designing classroom and school building already have acceptable approach which is working well in the Gambia. However, we as designers can still play around the concept and contribute to it development without changing it.

In this design, enhancing natural ventilation and driving Sola radiation away is the gold. The confort of students depends on how much fresh air can reach them all day. Proper ventilation and thermal confort of the space will also be determined by how much Sun (Solar) radiation is allowed in.

With all this in mind, the design team come with the idea that will protect the windows from direct Solar radiation while at the same time allows smoot natural ventilation. The window design is precise for both form and function in mind
