Employment Type: Apprenticeship / Full-Time

Reports to: Sales Manager / Team Leader
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Apprentice to join our team and develop the skills needed for a successful career in sales. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship from experienced professionals. You will learn how to build customer relationships, understand client needs, and support the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
👉 Learn and apply sales techniques through coaching and formal training.
👉 Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks including lead generation, prospect outreach, and customer follow-ups.
👉 Assist with preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
👉 Update and maintain customer information in CRM systems.
👉 Respond to customer enquiries in a professional, timely manner.
👉 Participate in team meetings, training workshops, and performance reviews.
👉 Develop a strong understanding of company products/services and industry trends.
👉 Shadow sales representatives to observe and practice selling skills.
👉 Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and sales processes.
Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For:

✅ Confidence when speaking with customers over the phone and in person.
✅ Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
✅ A proactive approach and ability to work well within a team.
✅ Basic digital literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM tools beneficial).
✅ Resilience, motivation, and a results-driven mindset.
Education & Entry Requirements:
➡️ No prior sales experience required.
➡️ A good general level of education (Leaving Cert or equivalent).
➡️ Must be eligible for an apprenticeship programme.
➡️ A passion for customer service or sales is highly desirable.
