🌱 Allotment Bed Rentals – Sunday 15 March 🌱

We are pleased to announce that Sunday 15 March will be the day for renting allotment beds at Ballybofey and Stranorlar Allotments.

If you are planning to rent a bed for the coming season, please take note of the following:

• All payments must be made directly to the Treasurer or Deputy Treasurer only.
• A receipt will be issued for all payments.
• Beds can only be secured once a receipt has been issued.
• Anyone who held a bed last year may continue using the same bed if they wish.
• Beds may be held for up to three years, with payment required annually.

Bed Prices:
• Inside beds – €20
• Outside small beds – €17
• Outside big beds – €20

We look forward to seeing both returning and new gardeners and to another great growing season together 🌿

Following last nights AGM, we are delighted to announce the newly elected committee who will help guide Ballybofey and Stranorlar Allotments into its next chapter.

All positions were nominated, seconded, and unanimously approved, reflecting the strong support from members for the team stepping forward.

Our new committee is as follows:

Chairperson: Michael Gallagher
Treasurer: Seamus Connelly
Deputy Treasurer: Caroline Gillespie
Secretary & Communications: Malcolm Houston
Maintenance Officer: Andy Hayes

We would like to thank everyone who attended the AGM and took part in the process. Community involvement is what keeps the allotments growing and thriving.

The new committee is looking forward to building on the fantastic work that has already been done over the years and helping the allotments continue to develop as a welcoming space for the community.
