Biodiversity ☘️🌱🌿

Now is a fantastic time to make a new and improved plan for your garden. Thinking of our pollinators and including plants, for food and a home for the insects.

Here are some plants ideas.

Lawn Care

A Simple guide to improving your fresh new lawn in 2022

March –

•Raking your lawn free of any debris, remaining from the winter, will promote better lawn growth and health. Removing as much moss as possible will help significantly.

•Aerate the lawn. To do this you can use a pitchfork, lawn aerator shoes.
•Aerating the lawn will allow for deeper root growth. Leading to a greener and healthier looking lawn.
•I recommend aerating the lawn 2-3 times a year to allow for maximum growth. (March & September)

April - First cut

•Upon the first cut of the year, raise your lawnmower to near its highest cutting stage.
•Leaving the cuttings of the grass on the grass after cutting will boost the nutrient value in the lawn.
•Promoting better growth and healthy lawns.
•Fertilise - adding a fertiliser to your lawn will boost the growth significantly. I recommend (Mo Bacter) and (Lawn Gold) for this time of the year.

June/July –

•Water if we see the warm weather for a period (1/2 nights a week). Make sure not to cut the grass down to low.

August/September –

• Apply an autumn Feed and aerate the lawn again. This is preparing the lawn for the winter months ahead and all the elements our weather brings.
