Part2 of our latest attic conversion, 3 Velux windows installed, 50mm rigid insulation between every rafter, with 50mm air flow above, every joint is taped, every rafter is drilled to let the air circulate properly above the insulation, install soffit vents, roof vents to let that roof breath a must for any conversion, airtight membrane taped and sealed, and we'll finish with an insulated 50mm board all around and it was all signed off by the engineer today.😀

An attic conversion we started this week,
Due to the size of the steels specified we got the tank, flooring, insulating, and the slabbing done in the storage area before the steels and support walls went in to carry the roof, we're using C24 grade timbers for the suspended floor, and first fix electrics also completed today and the stairs installed.😀

Finishing up on this project,
We created a new PC room,utility room,playroom,downstairs shower room,with a new pitched roof above to give vaulted ceilings,we opened up the dining and kitchen space to give an open plan area,knocked out the back wall and installed a concealed steel beam to give floor to ceiling bifold doors to add more natural daylight,new electrical,new floors and doors throughout,and repaint inside and out.
