Overlooking the airfield, the restaurant at Weston Airport redefines the experience of aviation, transforming it into a place of connection, activity, and atmosphere.

Delivered as part of a wider airport renewal, the space was carefully designed within a live operational environment.

Drawing on the elegance of aviationโ€™s golden age, the design subtly reinterprets Art Deco influences through a contemporary lens, expressed in materiality, lighting, and spatial clarity.

More than a dining space, the restaurant has become a natural gathering point for pilots, visitors, and the wider community, opening the airport to the public and reshaping Weston as a vibrant, outward-looking destination.

Located in Leixlip, Co. Dublin, Weston Airport has been transformed from a modest refurbishment into a fully integrated private aviation terminal for the Greater Dublin Area.

Originally conceived as a restaurant upgrade, the project evolved into a
comprehensive renewal of the airportโ€™s main operational buildings, all carefully
delivered within the constraints of a live, operational airfield.

Inspired by the golden age of aviation, the design reinterprets Art Deco principles through a contemporary architectural lens, creating a distinct identity rooted in
both heritage and modernity.

A refined material palette and clear architectural language define the project, balancing function, history, and a new standard for private aviation experience.

When there isnโ€™t room for a full office, a little creative thinking can go a long way. This wing-inspired study desk brings sculptural design and craftsmanship into the heart of a living space proof that function and beauty can share the same footprint.

From 1830s office building to contemporary family home.

We transformed this 19th-century building into a warm, contemporary residence restoring its period beauty while reshaping the layout for modern living. Creating a grand hall, and a bright, white ground floor inviting for everyday living that contrasts with the dark atmospheric as you move through the home.

Every detail reflects the ownersโ€™ love for craftsmanship, colour, and enduring materials. The parquet floor, reclaimed from a to***co barn in the U.S. and sourced through Oโ€™Flynnโ€™s Flooring, anchors the space with warmth and history.

In the living room, design classics such as a mid-century sideboard by John & Sylvia Reid and a Zanotta sofa sit effortlessly within the homeโ€™s restored period fabric.

Reimagining a brutalist landmark.

Originally the 1972 McInerney Building by Stephenson Gibney & Associates, The One Building was given new life by NBK ARCHITECTS.

Stripped back to its concrete bones and rebuilt for the 21st century.

A new glazed penthouse, relocated entrance, and removal of site enclosures opened the building to its surroundings, softening its edges and reconnecting it to the city.
The interior was stripped, exposing the original boardmarking to the concrete structure. This and the cleansed aggregate of the precast external cladding informed a palette of colour and texture for the core and reception designs in terrazzo and concrete and the vast expanses of glazing.
