- 39 hour week
- Monday to Friday

- Full time Permanent contract with a 3-month probationary period

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation of kitchens and wardrobes on contracted sites
- Reviewing drawings to ensure product, accessories and components are ready for assembly
- Preparing, organising and maintaining material, product and tools necessary for assembly.
- Maintaining consistent fast-paced work flow to help meet project deadlines

The Candidate must have / be able to:

- Safe pass
- Manual handling
- Own transport Full clean driving licence
- Own tools
- Be able to understand, communicate and engage in your work with high attention to detail
- Work as part of a team
- Capacity to handle high volume of physical work
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience fitting kitchens
- Possess excellent knowledge of all aspects of kitchen manufacturing and fitting

We are Hiring! - Fitzgerald Kitchens are hiring General Operatives – based on site (Dublin Area). The successful candidate will work as part of the On-site despatch team, unloading cabinet components and appliances.

This is a full-time position and immediate start is available for the right candidate.

- 39 hour week
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Overtime
- 1 year contract (3-month probationary period)

Key Responsibilities

- Organise and unload palleted cabinet components and appliances, placing products in the appropriate locations.
- Reporting daily to Site Manager or Contracts Manager.
- Adhering to all regulatory and company site requirements.
- Capacity to handle a high volume of workload and complete it in an accurate manner.

We are hiring Apprentice Cabinet Makers. Fitzgerald Kitchens, a rapidly expanding kitchen manufacturer based in Tinahely, Co Wicklow seeks full-time apprentice cabinet makers for immediate start.

About the apprenticeship: -

Solas further education and training authority programme in Wood Manufacturing and finishing

On and off the job training programme aimed at developing skills of the apprentice to meet the needs of the industry and labour market which comprises of 7 stages.

Phase 1,3,5,7 On site with the employer – The apprentice will be paid a weekly apprenticeship wage, which will increase once phases have been completed. The apprentice is also entitled to 20 days annual leave a year.

Phase 2,4,6 College – Apprentice will be paid a training allowance while in training and will not be entitled to take holidays during the off-the-job training phase

The duration of this apprenticeship is a minimum of 4 years from date of registration in employment with a SOLAS-approved employer providing all phases have successfully been completed.

On successful completion of the programme the learner is awarded a Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Wood Manufacturing and Finishing.

Requirements:
- Experience with hand tools
- Some experience with woodworking

The following experience is a plus but not a must:
- Working with solid wood
- Hands-on cabinetry work experience
- Woodworking machinery
- Full Drivers Licence would be preferred

Responsibilities Include:
- While being trained, you will be working closely with our experienced team to learn, and assist with:
- Building kitchen units
- Assembling all types of cabinets and other production woodwork
- Sanding and routing woodwork
- Preparing, organising and maintaining material, product and tools necessary for assembly.
- Maintaining consistent fast-paced workflow to help meet project deadlines
- Reviewing drawings to ensure product, accessories and components are ready for assembly
- Training on various machines
- Assisting our team with miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Working Hours 39-hour week Monday to Friday.
