Another job completed early this year. This was the one with the moongate.
The video that’s out there about the moongate wasn’t the one that I finally went with. If you look closely you’ll see the difference in that one and the finished one. It didn’t have the visual balance that was needed to perfect the look. One side had longer stones than the other. It took 4 attempts to create that moongate perfectly, but was so worth it.
This job started with a green field, I built a pond at the rear with the moongate for the entrance and a winding path to the house. Off the path I built a sunken fire pit on one side, a vegetable garden on the other. A playground for the child, and a paved patio with a covered pergola. The playground was lawned in clover and all the rest was wildflower meadow. I had to leave this job to catch up on promised work, but will be returning to finish off a bbq area later in the year. We gave the The church of Ireland a face lift a while back,, cleaned out the gutters, freed up the downpipes, removed the ivy, cleaned the moss from the slates, soft washed it, renovated the driveway, installed drainage at the front of the church and both sides of the driveway, installed a disabled parking spot, built and installed 11 gothic styled wooden crosses to blend in as hanging basket supports, fitted 22 hanging baskets and installed a self watering irrigation system on a timer to eliminate the need for care during the hottest months. Big shoutout to Erskine for helping with the soft washing as heights is not thing, and to Michael who’s always on hand to help out. Thanks again to the COI committee for thier support and keeping it local. Was a pleasure working with ye.

Quick update on our moongate project. I just wasn’t happy with it the way it was so down she came and I got a better class of stone, and look at it now. Now That’s what you call A Moongate. So much better than the original.
If you’re not going to do it right,, Don’t do it at all.
