A little tidy up for one of our Naas customers this week, who has been working away for a while.

All sorted and now ready for a good power wash. Then back to good as new so they can enjoy the summer.

So, the sun sets on our project in Painstown, Kildare for Ramona and Oran.

An absolute pleasure to be involved and a massive thanks to all the DIYSOS team, and all those I have met over the past 9 days. It was a huge amount of work but didn't really feel like work because of the fun we've had doing it. And it looks stunning. Today is reveal day. 😊🏡👨‍🌾

With DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland

Have to say. This week, (although it has been really hard work), has been one of the most enjoyable working week's of my life.

It is just such a positive vibe on the site and when everyone is on the same page the environment is unreal. It's a very sad situation, but when you see people's reactions and all the effort going in to help Ramona and Oran it is extremely heartwarming.

If you ever have the opportunity to help out on a DIYSOS project. DO IT!. 😊💪💪💪

Ps. I can't post images of the site and any part of the construction so far as it's top secret. 🤫🤫🤫 All will be revealed when the show airs in a couple of months. But I can assure you, it's going to be stunning. 😉

My sidekick this afternoon was Rosemary who drove up from Waterford today, and kindly volunteered herself to help me build the stage for tonight's 'gig' at the DIYSOS build in Kildare. 😊

DIY SOS Kildare - ONE WEEK TO GO!

Site opens Tuesday 19th May at 8am for registration

📍EIRCODE - W91 EH60

🚗 PARKING
ALL volunteers must park in the field beside the build (head for eircode W91 EH60 at Baltracey Cross, Kildare). Please follow traffic management & DIY SOS signage on arrival.

💪 WE NEED YOU
Let’s make Day 1 count! We are finishing the home of Mona & Oran, and we need as many volunteers and tradespeople as possible from 8am Tuesday - and in the days that follow!

📝Registration will be on-site when you arrive.

👷‍♂️SITE SAFETY
This is a live construction site:
✔️Hard hat
✔️Hi-vis
✔️ Work boots
🚫 No PPE = no entry
(Limited PPE available for non-trades)

⚒️ TRADES please bring:
• Safe Pass
• CSCS card
• Relevant tickets (scaffolding, plant, abrasive wheels, etc.)

🍽️ FOOD & DRINK
Meals and refreshments will be provided on site

🚦Traffic management will be in place - just follow the DIY SOS signs and directions from stewards.

Our latest transformation in Naas. Really enjoyed this project and we hardly had a drop of rain during the whole project. And many thanks to our clients Rod & Maura for the opportunity.

Old mossy lawn taken out.✅️
Soil rotavated to 6".✅️
New soil and top dressing sand/soil mix added.✅️
New turf added.✅️
Old fence panels taken out.✅️
Slatted wall built to both sides.✅️
Trellis added.✅️
Tree surgery to rear end trees lopped by 12ft to add open it up and add light.✅️
Timber block border added to refresh the edges of the lawns.✅️
Power washed after clean up.✅️

Happy customer = Happy Garden Manager. 😊
