Have a look at this....our latest project. This one has it all. A complete remodeling of a beautiful site just outside Cortown, in Co. Meath. The site was initially cleared on all sides of the house to cater for granite cobble, paving slabs and solid kerbs. The site also includes multiple raised bedding areas, a large concrete slab for a greenhouse, installation of multiple lighting points and granite courtyard at the side of the dwelling. Additional parking spaces were also created at the side and entrance to the dwelling. More to follow as this exciting project develops....

Check out this (not so little) project in Walterstown. This job was one of the highlights of the year in terms of transformation. This job started off as a straightforward clean up and tarmacadam finish. On consultation with Michelle and David it quickly changed into a project that required a bit of imagination (with Michelle and David driving this obviously) and a whole lot of graft. The project consisted of removal of the old driveway, the removal of all of the existing kerbs, preparation of the back area of the house for a Ballylusk pebble finish, installing a new drainage system to sort out surface water retention and connecting with the existing system, granite cobble border at the main entrance, building of a granite step into the garage and completely remodeling the kerbs but this time finishing with beautiful 1m solid granite kerbs. As always the job was completed by using 10mm SMA tarmacadam.
This house is an absolute stunner and with these additions has really added to the overall finish.

These are the details of a recently completed job in Cakestown, just outside Kells. Two old layers of previously laid tarmacadam had to be removed to prepare for the new surface. Acco channels were installed at the front of the house for excess surface water and a cobble border was laid along the front of the house, finished with tumbled silver granite. The really enhance the aesthetics of the driveway, silver granite kerbing was used to replace the old concrete kerbs. New electric boxes were also installed at the piers and to close out the job, high quality SMA tarmacadam with a minimum depth of 60mm was used to complete the job.

Completed project close to Skryne in Co. Meath. This job turned out beautifully I have to say. The ground was leveled and prepared with 808 screenings and rolled and whacked out. Drainage points were completed with heavy duty steel hinged grates and finished with top quality SMA tarmacadam. This finished off what is an architectural masterpiece of a house and really adds to the beautiful grounds leading in from the entrance.

Completed works in a lovely quiet and mature estate in Blanchardstown. Work began with the old concrete driveway being broken up and removed from site. The driveway was remodeled to cater for an additional parking space, with the existing entrance being widened and a repositioning of one of the entrance pillars. A beautiful limestone cobble border was installed at the front and rear of the dwelling with two new natural stone steps at both of the house doors. This was complemented with a new set of steps onto the back garden area. As usual the finishing surface was completed with 10mm SMA tarmacadam to leave a clean and maintenance free driveway.

Completed works in Kilcarn, Navan. Removed to old driveway, remodeled the existing kerbs on the right hand side of the driveway to create a smoother turning space and prepared the ground surface for tarmacadam. There was also a full border of yellow limestone (very popular at the moment) installed around the perimeter of the driveway with two strips of larger borders at the pillars and at the side of the house. Finished as always with 10mm SMA tarmacadam. This remodeling really enhanced this beautiful countryside bungalow.

Check out this transformative and (not so) little project which is almost completed in a lovely quiet alcove in Trim. This job required an extension to the existing driveway which incorporated removing an old tarmacadam and concrete driveway to begin with. The old and weather beaten fencing was taken down and replaced with a luscious laurel hedge along the perimeter with additional trees planted. A new composite fence and gate was erected at the side of the house. Beautiful silver granite kerbs and a full border of matching granite cobble was installed along the perimeter wall and driveway. Our customer Lorraine like the look of the granite so much that she added in pillar and wall caps too.
We took out the old and uneven lawn and remodeled, leveled and seeded in the new lawn.
The usual finishing surface of SMA tarmacadam with a minimum depth of 60mm was used to complete the job.
Very proud of this job.

Please see this amazing evolution in the beautifully scenic Oldcastle from a tired and worn driveway to a beautifully finished and rejuvenated space. All the old kerbs were removed, along with the old tarmacadam, with an extended portion of driveway that leads up to a new patio area. Patio area completed by by Pavetechpatio Paving. Shane and his crew do some amazing work.
The old cattle grid was also removed which really enhanced the entrance to the dwelling. Surface area was prepared with SR21 screenings, installation of brand new flat kerbs and as always the finishing surface was completed with a 80mm depth of 10mm SMA tarmacadam.

Another fantastic turnaround, this time in Rush in county Dublin. As this dwelling was extremely close to the coast, it meant that special care had to be taken with the preparation of the groundworks as it was fully sand based. A major clean up of the site was required and an extension to the rear of the dwelling was also added. To tidy up the site, a boundary of kerbs with several drop points for access were installed, including drainage points. Really delighted with the outcome here. Many thanks to Grainne and Tim for the opportunity to showcase what Normic Tarmacadam can do to transform a driveway space.

This was a tricky little exercise. Situated on the grounds of St. Kevin's church on Harrington Street in the heart of Dublin. Whilst the job was small, it was awkward and very tight on space and just to spice it up has a drop of 3 meters without proper access. Kudos to Ian on engineering a very smart and efficient ramp to get the tarmacadam from A to B in style.

Completed driveway works in Walterstown. This was quite a narrow driveway so the aim of the project was to expand the turning space, install new pressed concrete kerbs and drainage. The old pebble surface was removed and prepared with 804 screenings before the finishing surface of SMA tarmacadam was laid. It's amazing the impact that some subtle changes can make on a driveway and this is a fine example of this.
