🔨 A recent project completed just outside Saintfield 🔨

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I thought I’d share one of my recent jobs.

For this project, I supplied and fitted a new luxury vinyl tile floor along with a run of bespoke shaker-style storage units. The units were designed to make the most of the available space while keeping a clean, modern look, and the flooring ties everything together nicely.

Really pleased with how this one turned out. The contrast between the flooring, cabinetry and the American-style fridge freezer works great and gives the room a fresh, practical finish.

Another recent job completed in Lisburn 👌

3 built-in units fitted, all made to suit the space and maximise storage. Interiors finished in oak Egger board for a clean, durable look, with custom-made doors sized to suit the high ceilings.

Another tidy job finished up today in Lisburn 🔨

Custom-built storage box with a durable laminate oak top, keeping things practical while still looking the part. The base has been made in a classic shaker style, all prepped and ready for paint to match the client’s space perfectly.

🔨 Hallway Transformation – Before & After

Before:
The hallway originally had a closed-in stair with a mahogany-faced plywood balustrade, which made the space feel quite boxed in and dated. It also limited the flow of light through the hallway, leaving it feeling darker and more enclosed than it should be.

After:
By removing the old enclosed balustrade and opening up the staircase, the space is now far brighter and more inviting. I fitted new solid oak posts and handrail, combined with white spindles, giving it a clean, modern look while still keeping a classic feel.

To finish it off, I installed wall panelling throughout and upgraded all the skirting boards to solid timber—a much more durable option than MDF, especially in a busy hallway where it needs to stand up to everyday knocks.

The end result is a completely transformed hallway that feels bigger, brighter, and built to last.

Another media wall completed in Banbridge 🔨

For this one I built the structure using moisture-resistant MDF instead of plasterboard. This approach keeps the job much cleaner with far less mess, and it also gives sharp, crisp edges that look great once painted.

The TV recess sits above the electric fire with a clean, modern finish, and everything is now fully prepped and ready for painting.

Delighted to see this staircase finished off after the client had it painted and carpeted 👌

For this job I clad the existing strings in solid oak, fitted new oak newel posts and handrail, and installed black metal spindles to give it a more modern look. The oak against the dark spindles really finishes it off nicely.

Great to see it all come together once the decorating and carpet were done. Thanks to the client for sending the photos!

Another small part of this ongoing house revamp over in Ballywalter completed today 👌

Fitted these clean, modern floating shelves to keep the space looking open while still adding plenty of practical storage. I used solid oak for the frontals, which not only gives them a lovely natural finish but also makes them extra hard-wearing for everyday use.

The oak detail really lifts the look and ties in nicely with the rest of the work happening throughout the house.

Plenty more to come as this revamp progresses 🔨✨

Made good use of the space with open shelving and a full-height hanging section.
Just the hanging rails to go in tomorrow and it’s finished off nicely.
