Rathcoole Christmas Fair We are a group of volunteers who (over the past 18 years) organise Rathcoole Christmas Fair, spreading Christmas joy to the entire community.

The Rathcoole Christmas Fair was established 18 years ago by the Rathcoole Christmas Lights Committee to help raise funds to light up the village of Rathcoole at Christmas time to bring about a cheerful, positive community spirit. At the same time presenting an opportunity for local Arts & Crafts people to showcase their handcrafted products. We also aim to introduce the younger people in our comm

unity to Arts & Crafts. We do this by running Christmas Arts & Crafts Workshops. The workshop provides an opportunity for each child to try out new techniques, develop their art skills and build their confidence all at the same time. The workshop is for school-going children of all ages and abilities. Each child gets to complete a special piece to take home to be treasured by parents & grandparents for many years. This event has proven hugely popular with the youngsters over the years. In addition, we have lots of Christmas-themed activities for the kiddies such as face-painting, writing letters to Santa with the elves and of course the option to visit the beloved Mrs Clause ;)

It's with regret that there will be no Christmas Fair again this year, we feel it's just not safe to go ahead with it.

Last year the Santa drive through the Rathcoole estates was a great success, we will be doing the same again this year, will keep you posted.

Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to organise Rathcoole Christmas Fair this year, but our volunteers continue to work hard to decorate Rathcoole village with Christmas Lights (and they look amazing this year). Well that's a wrap for another year. Thanks to all who came, supported or got involved in our annual Christmas Fair and Santa Visit to the Village. Both weekends were a huge success and lots of festive memories were made. We hope you enjoyed it all as much as we did and we look forward to seeing you all next year.
