Lately I’m so much into these kind of cakes, like vintage style with little hearts. I’ve done several in the past months and love them every time. They are just too cute.

This one was for sweet Liel, who asked for vanilla cake layers filled with lemon curd.
Thanks also to her mum who herself is a cake maker in Germany and trusted me here in Israel with her daughter’s cake (she also added a name caketopper - I’ll show you in my stories).

Our family didn’t only celebrate the new Jewish year but also my big girls birthday.
So the theme had to be honey and all as we wish for a sweet new year. But I also added of course my daughter’s name and she requested a vanilla cake with Oreo filling (instead of honey cake).

This cake was really fun to decorate. It had several elements such as a drip, fondant flowers, white chocolate honeycombs and super cute little edible bees by .

I’m still only taking limited orders as life with three kids is very busy. But thanks for all@of your requests. Keep them coming, I always try to make it possible.

Wishing all of my Jewish followers a happy new year. That it will be a healthy, and sweet one , a quiet one (for us in Israel) and that our hostages will come back soon.

In our house when there is a birthday I usually decorate the night before with balloons and confetti and whatever I feel like.

And of course there is always always cake!
But we are only 4 (well 5, but one is too@little for cake) and I don’t want the kids (and myself) to eat too much cake for breakfast so the bento size is just perfect.

We even have leftovers usually. I always say it’s for 2 people but if you don’t like huge pieces it easily serves for 4-5.

So this cute balloon version was for Ron, my not so little baby boy, who turned 7 this summer.
Wait until you see the big party cake!

Here is my latest Bat Mitzwah cake

What you can see:
- very classy design - could be a bridal or wedding cake
- white straight and smooth finish - my favorite
- elegant features, less is more

What you can’t see:
- the vanilla cake layers
- the actual size, it’s huge, serves up to 40
- the excitement that this was my first cake order since I gave birth to my baby girl, who is today 7 weeks old
