Project 65
A complete transformation of a 25-year-old apartment, Project 65 reimagines an aging structure into a warm, calming, and contemporary home for a small family of three and their pet bulldog. What began as an intent to undertake minimal interventions soon evolved into a full-scale renovation, driven by the deteriorated condition of the existing space.
The redesign involved a comprehensive overhaul—stripping down the apartment to its bare shell by removing outdated wiring, plumbing systems, false ceilings, and all non-load-bearing walls. This allowed for a fresh spatial reconfiguration, aligning the home with modern living needs while retaining structural integrity.
Planned as a 2.5 BHK residence, the design focuses on creating a sense of openness and comfort within a compact footprint. The approach balances functionality with emotional warmth, ensuring that each space feels intimate yet uncluttered.
Material choices and finishes are curated to evoke a soothing atmosphere soft tones, subtle textures, and a restrained palette come together to create a cohesive and inviting environment. The design emphasizes simplicity and liveability, where every intervention contributes to a more fluid and harmonious spatial experience.
At its core, Project 65 is not just a renovation but a reinvention transforming a worn-out apartment into a thoughtful, lived-in home that reflects warmth, adaptability, and contemporary sensibilities.
